In the first half of 2024, operators of Ukraine’s seaports handled 52.7 million tons of cargo, marking a significant increase compared to the same period in 2023, when the volume was 31.3 million tons. This growth reflects the revitalization of economic activity and the country’s development, despite ongoing challenges.
Of this total, 33.5 million tons were attributed to agricultural products (agro-industrial complex), highlighting the importance of the agricultural sector to Ukraine’s economy. Seaports remain key points for the export of Ukrainian goods, ensuring stable access to international markets.
In June alone, seaports processed 6.7 million tons of cargo, which is 30% more than in June 2023. These impressive results underline the growing demand for Ukrainian products and the efficiency of our logistical infrastructure.
